"The Church, the Word of God and the World in a Pandemic Crisis" - Online CBF Conference

The South-East Asia Region of the Catholic Biblical Federation will sponsor a teleconference on the topic: "The Church, the Word of God and the World in a Pandemic Crisis: Coping with the Crisis in the Light of Scriptures and Envisioning a New Normal in the Aftermath". The keynote speaker will be His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.

As we all know, 2020 was proclaimed by the President of the Catholic Biblical Federation, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, as the Year of the Word. Practically since the beginning of this year we are in a pandemic but this situation should not deter us from spreading and reflecting on the Word of God. In fact it should lead us to a deeper reflection on the Word vis-a-vis our present situation.

To lead us to a theological and biblical reflection the South-East Asia Region of the Catholic Biblical Federation will sponsor a teleconference on the topic: "The Church, the Word of God and the World in a Pandemic Crisis: Coping with the Crisis in the Light of Scriptures and Envisioning a New Normal in the Aftermath". The keynote speaker will be His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle. The conference will take place on Zoom platform on September 23, 2020 from 2:00 - 5:30 PM Philippine time. It will be hosted by the General Secretariat of the Catholic Biblical Federation in cooperation with the Friends of the CBF.
