In preparation for the Plenary Assembly of the Catholic Biblical Federation in April 2022, we invite all members and friends of our Federation to pray for God’s blessing, the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and the intercession of Mary, the Mother of the Word, for all its regions and their activities.

Presentation of the Region

The Roman region stands at the heart of the Catholic Biblical Federation. This is not only its birthplace, but also the location for its governing bodies. The General Secretary of CBF and the Cardinal President reside in Rome. The associate members in this region comprise include the Generalates of all major religious orders involved in the activities of the Federation throughout the world, and several Pontifical Universities. All World Biblical Congresses organized by the Federation and two of its plenary assemblies have taken place in the city. Many of those at the core of biblical ministry in the Catholic world have been trained in the Roman Universities and institutes. The Italian language is also one of the Federation’s main languages.

Dei Verbum Nemi Course 2019

With over 20 participants from different parts of the world and with the presence of the CBF General Secretary the new edition of the Dei Verbum Course was inaugurated today, 4th of September 2019, in Nemi.
